Insect safari in Bremen's allotment gardens
In 2026, the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Bremen is launching a citizen science project to record insects from all species groups in the allotment garden areas of the city of Bremen.
Allotment gardeners and the general public are called upon to search for insects on an area of 1040 hectares and record their occurrence with their cell phones or cameras. The photos can be captured with the help of the free and non-profit identification app iNaturalist without prior knowledge of the location: Download Google Play || Download App Store
