“Ochtum-Warfeld e.V.” Allotment Garden Association
You’ll find us where Neustadt, Grolland, and Huchting meet along the Ochtum River.
Our association has about 400 gardeners who tend a total of 310 plots. Since 1921, these allotment gardens have served as a small oasis within the city of Bremen—a place to unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet, or observe wildlife.
You can find out on our website how to become a tenant, what the garden rules entail, and all sorts of useful information about gardening. If you’re interested in nature and homegrown vegetables, please feel free to contact us.
We hold a consultation hour at the clubhouse on the first Thursday of every month at 5 p.m.

Dear Club Members,
On September 9 at 10 a.m., “Olli’s Juice Shop—Mobile Juicer” will be back in action. Bring your apples and/or grapes and have them juiced in front of the clubhouse.
We ask that you read your water meters using the self-reading form by September 15, 2026, at the latest, and submit the form to a board member or drop it in the mailbox at the clubhouse. Otherwise, water consumption will be estimated. Changes to your address, bank account information, and phone number must be reported immediately. The drainage ditches adjacent to the gardens must be cleaned by November 15. Heavy pruning of hedges, bushes, and shrubs is permitted again starting September 30. We strongly urge you to clear the paths of overhanging vegetation!
Please completely dismantle trampolines by October 31. Also, after the summer, remove all movable playground equipment from the gardens. During storms, this equipment can cause significant damage to your own and neighboring gardens. Please do not dispose of trash or prunings in the association’s gardens.
Community service will take place on September 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The meeting point is at the preparation area. The consultation hour will be held on September 3 at 5 p.m. in the clubhouse. Thank you very much!
